On Veteran's Day: Remember Them
Remember them that served so well:
Our nation's veterans... all who fell
And all who live. They paid the price
With their courageous sacrifice -
Enduring fire and shot and shell.
Our nation's heroes fought like hell
Through warfare's sights and sounds and smells,
With vict'ry as their final prize...
Remember them.
For those who died, now toll the bell,
For those who live, their brave deeds tell.
We honor those whose sacrifice
Defending freedom did suffice...
Our hearts on them shall always dwell,
Remember them.
