On a Wing and a Prayer
When beginning this story , I feel as though it's on a need to basis . Maybe It's time for us all as individuals to realize that we are not alone. That there is extra added help if we will just put our faith on the line and not our wallets or purses faith isn't in our wallets or purses or shouldn't be It's good to have money for paying those bills but it is God that provides our every need and not all our wants . God is ever enduring , his love is everlasting and his spirit is always with us no matter what we are dealing with . I know in my life that there is times such as now , I ask why must have to endure this or that and then I ask myself why not . I am not no different or better than anyone else. I was just talking to someone the other day , and doing errands and such , whether on the phone or in person , I will not say but, I talked to this lady of whom was in much need of conversation and so I just listened to her talk and leaned an ear to hear her talk and that felt good to do that . She has a family member in "Iraq" and has been there "3" years and what I couldn't understand was she was fine with that . I was concerned about her genuinely concerned for her and why she said that . She had talked about this new health care plan and a some other things too and I just enjoyed listening to her she was a friendly person There was also talk about this health care issue , and how it possibly was going to be passed and how health insurance for everyone would probably more than triple if it passes, and how things were going to get worse and I agreed. Then I listened some more of their / her troubles and she was even more than nice and, so this story is for her where ever she is at and whatever she is doing today , that will realize in her heart that isn't gonna just get worse with this health care situation , that is gonna get worse everywhere with everything before the Lord / God comes to rescue all of us here and I know I need to make myself ready and I all have is , Gods loving Wing and a prayer . His abiding care , love , and concern for his flock or people he , is just awesome to say the least . On Gods loving wing and a prayer we could do more than we ever thought we could . He provides food for us all , and shelter too , even the small birds have food , they have those fruits from our trees ,like the pecans, figs and yeah even the worms too . I know I don't want to eat no worm , but they don't have a care in the world at all . Why can't I be more like those birds , the bible even says in the book of "Psalms 91:4 " He shall cover thee with his feathers and under his wings shall thou trust : his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.Also, there is Psalms 57:1 of which says this : Be Merciful unto me O God , be merciful unto me : for my soul trusteth in thee : yeah , in the shadow of they wings will I make my refuge until these calamities be over past .One more is Malachi 4:2 which reads But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall , last of all Psalms 5:2 of which says :Hearken unto the voice of my cry my King and my God for unto thee will I pray .So we / If I will pray and believe in God in good times and especially the bad then he will Carry me all the way over to the other side of all the bad or the other side of that valley which will be another mountain and put me up on high . I know this cause there's been so much evidence of his holy spirit in my home, and in my life , I just can not tell it all .So here's to the lady again ,most of all to God of whom gave me the desire and the gift of writing these short stories hopefully to inspire, up lift and even encourage , some one else along the way , maybe even myself, when I truly need to be encouraged , as well as others in my their time of need . God is always with me, and God he reigns forever and ever.
