On-Cor Lasagna Review

I love Lasagna, but often don't have the time to prepare this dish for my family. While completing my grocery shopping at my local Kroger's grocery store I saw they had On-Cor Classics Family Sized Lasagna with Meat Sauce on sale for $1.98 per package. I liked the idea of frozen lasagna and I liked the price. When you consider the size of the package, which is almost 2 pounds for the price, this is a hard to pass up deal. In this product review I will focus on On-Cor Family Sized Lasagna with Meat Sauce in an effort to help other consumers make an informed buying decision when shopping for easy to prepare, affordable and tasty frozen foods.

This frozen food really surprised me, it is affordable. It is easy to find in grocery stores and it is really quite good. The lasagna has 3 layers of noodles, cheese and meat sauce. I was quick to wonder how nutritionally complete this frozen food was. It is easy to assume that if something is affordable it is going to contain a lot of empty calories. Each box of On-Cor Family Sized Lasagna with Meat Sauce contains 4 generous sized portions. Each serving size is about 1 cup of lasagna, and it contains only 220 calories per serving and it has a lot of great nutrients and vitamins such as protein, iron, calcium, vitamin A, and also Vitamin C. This frozen lasagna also contains 9 grams of fat per serving, which is less than I would have expected. I liked that this frozen food contains no preservatives.

This frozen lasagna is easy to prepare. You simply remove the plastic cover, and bake for around 50 minutes. You can also microwave this frozen lasagna if you are in a hurry, which is a nice feature of this product in my opinion.

My family personally loved the On-Cor Family Sized Lasagna with Meat Sauce. This frozen food makes a great meal for a busy family or a family on a budget. You can pair it with garlic bread or a salad and have a great and easy meal for your families enjoyment. I will definitely purchase On-Cor family Sized Lasagna with Meat Sauce again and I would also recommend this product to other consumers who like lasagna and saving money. In my opinion, the only way this product could be improved is if more mozzarella cheese was added to the top layer.

Nice review. When I was in college, I lived on On-Cor Lasagna. Just last night, I saw it at the grocery store and thought I'd try it after all these years. I found that my palette has definitely matured. I've had better lasagna, BUT, it still tastes good, and for the price, it's hard to beat. Add some garlic toast and you've got a decent meal. B-)
