One of the Best Small Cars on the Road Today, the 2011 Honda Civic Coupe

For being reliable and enjoyable to drive, the 2011Honda Civic Coupe was described in recent reviews as "you're not going to find anything much better in a small car." It's reliability , comfort, good fuel economy and well built features were all given high marks in 2011 Honda Civic Coupe reviews.

Through the years the Honda Civic has grown, and today's version is described as being about as big as the Honda Accord from 15 years ago. Aside from a few minor trim level changes, the 2011 Honda Civic Coupe remains pretty much unchanged in the last couple of years.

Unavailability of a few desirable features on lower trim levels like Bluetooth, stability control and rear disc brakes which were only available on fancier models were some of the cons reviewers gave to the 2011 Honda Civic Coupe. The sporty Mazda3 is the Honda Civic's strongest rival is this category of cars, offering performance that only the Civic Si can top.

In government testing, the 2011 Honda Civic earned a perfect 5 stars for its protection of occupants in frontal impacts. Side impact tests were given 4 stars for front passengers, and 5 stars for rear passenger protection. The Insurance for Hwy. Safety gave the 2011 Honda Civic Coupe an "acceptable" (2nd best) in side impact ratings.

Some of the standard features on the 2011 Honda Civic Coupe include: a 140-Lp,1.8 Liter Engine, ultra-low-emission, strut front and multi-link rear suspensions, 15" wheels with full covers, anti-lock braking system, tire pressure monitoring system, dual-stage, multiple-threshold front airbags, front side and side curtain airbags and driver & front passenger active head restraints.

The 2011 Honda Civic Coupe offers a choice of trim levels from DX manuel or automatic all the way to the EX-L automatic with navigation system. It also comes in a choice of colors.

The MPG rating for the 2011 Honda Civic Coupe was 26 for city driving and 34 for highway driving. The MSRP was $15,605 to $23,955 depending on its features and trim levels.

The 2011 Honda Civic was also rated as handling more confidently on the road than the average compact. With these recent ratings and reviews, I definitely would recommend giving the 2011 Honda Civic Coupe a test drive the next time you're in the market for a compact car. I don't think you'll disappointed, considering all the high marks this little car was given in recent reviews.

I haven't owned a 'small car' since before I got married. I had a sports car and I was about the only one who could fit in it!
