I have always indulged myself with things that pleased me when it came to foods and drinks. I would drink water from time to time but, not as much as I should have and as a result I have developed dry skin and intense thirst a lot of times.

My favorite beverage is pop. Pepsi is my favorite to be honest. I did not give much thought to how much I was drinking. All I wanted was that cold and crispy taste that in my opinion only Pepsi can provide. In my early thirties I have developed diabetes and to drink Pepsi the way that I was doing was a BIG no no.

Several years after being dignosed I developed a little damage to my kidneys and that is when I had realized that I must do better for the sake of my health. This is something that I should have thought about way before developing this kidney damage.

Well, I became even more strict with taking my medications and drinking less pop. I still will drink Pepsi but, I would drink the one that has no sugar added. I am also drinking plenty of water now. Just recently I went a few days without any pop and was just drinking water and as a result I felt a whole lot better. It was like my body was totally transformed for the better. I can feel my health getting better somehow in which I just can not describe.

The bottom line is that no matter how much juice, pop or sports drink that I take into my body it is still no comparison to drinking water. Water is the best thing that anyone can do for their bodies and their overall health.
