There are over 100 Deal a Day sites online, some offering much better deals than others due to their size. The original Deal a Day site, Woot.com is still the largest and one of the most popular. Woot.com offers a new product every night at midnight. These items are usually technology related, but they are not always. Not only does Woot offer their main deal but they also secondary sites, shirt.woot.com, wine.woot.com, and sellout.woot.com. Each of three sites offer a new deal each day. Shirt.woot and Wine.woot offer, as you would expect, shirts and wine each day. Sellout.woot is powered by Yahoo, and usually offers a technology related item each day also.
Other major Deal a Day sites include I Have to Have That, Thing Fling, Yugster, and many more. Most of these operate on the same basic principal of selling many items at a low price. Often these items are refurbished, making it possible to sell them at such low prices. Not only are there many Deal a Day sites, but there are also quite a few major retailers who offer a similar, Deal a Day. Tigerdirect and Newegg, two of the biggest online computer retailers, recently started offering a special deal each day on one item. Amazon and Buy.com also have similar programs.
These sites started off slowly back in 2004 when Woot.com first opened up. Since then these sites have become incredibly popular. Thousands of dollars are spent on these sites daily, much of it due to impulse buying. The only drawback to this buying style is that if you are looking for something specific it is unlikely that you will see that exact item at any time. If you are just looking for a good deal on some cool gadgets, these are the sites for you. Part of why these sites remain very successful is due to a strong community backing. Many, if not all of these sites have a forum or message board where members are encouraged to post comments and ideas. Most of these sites also try to have great customer service so as to get more return customers. Once you buy from one of these sites, you will probably keep going back!

This site is a deal a day site that promises but doesn't deliver?
Here's my experience; I ordered a WII "new in factory sealed box" according to the website for $201 and paid with paypal. After several unanswered emails and phone calls to the only info I had at the time, I did a little goggle research and found more info at these sites,

it seems I'm not the only one who has had this experience with the "Worm". So I did a little more digging and found an address, company name and owner's name as well as a lot of "public info" about him. Since I was going to be in the area I decided to stop by his "place of business" which happens to be his home and find out what the delay was. So after I did that I posted the info so others could get their refunds too. Here's what I posted;
