One Doctor Prescribed All of Anna's Meds

Could the death of Anna Nicole Smith be at fault of the doctor? It appears so. After a long investigation, the medication found in Anna Nicole Smith's hotel room was traced back to being prescribed by one physician, which leads people to question exactly why the doctor prescribed a lethal combination of drugs for the deceased star.

Reports are now surfacing that Dr. Khristine Eroshevich prescribed eleven (11) types of medication for Anna Nicole Smith, which was cited as playing a key role in her death.

Out of those eleven (11) types of medication, close to six hundred (600) pills was missing when police confiscated evidence after Anna Nicole Smith was pronounced dead. This did not add up considering that the prescriptions were less than 5 weeks old.

It has not been determined if Anna Nicole Smith took all 600 pills.

When the autopsy report was released, the cause of death was listed as accidental overdose.

However, it did not tell the amount of pills she had in her possession at the time of death until additional records was released on Wednesday (April 4, 2007).

Inside of those records was a report regarding the drug Chloral Hydrate, which is a very powerful sleeping medicine. This is the drug that was listed as the unofficial cause of Anna Nicole Smith's death since the drug reacted with others and caused a toxic mix.

According to the information, Anna Nicole Smith obtained the prescription for the drug on January 2, 2007. Reports state that two-thirds of the bottle was gone.

Also prescribed was Valium, which is a anti-anxiety drug. At the time of her death, 62 pills was missing from her bottle. The time period between the prescription and her death was less than 2 weeks.

All of the prescriptions was wrote for Howard K. Stern, who was Anna's lawyer and companion. However, according to Dr. Joshua Perper (Broward County Medical Examiner), the medication was prescribed for Anna Nicole Smith's use only.

Not only was Anna Nicole Smith's death caused by a overdose on prescription medication, it was also caused by a decrease in her body's immune system.

Before her death, Anna Nicole Smith suffered from a stomach flu and then had an infection from repeated injections of medicine into her buttocks. The days leading up to her death also included Anna having a temperature of 105 degrees.

This goes to show that we should all choose our doctors very carefully. As unfortunate as this is, maybe this will be a lesson for us all.
