One of Kay County Oklahoma's Wanted

Warrant Remains Issued for Margaret D. Roy

Marie Lowe
A failure to appear bench warrant remains issued for Margaret D. Roy, 21, Ponca City, by the Kay County District Court.

Roy failed to appear for an attorney status review on Jan. 5, 2007.

She is charged with a felony count of second degree burglary.

According to the police affidavit, Roy is accused of taking items from a residence in the 800 block of South Twelfth Street on June 18, 2006.

A neighbor told police that she heard noises coming from the room next to hers.

The neighbor came out of her room and reported seeing two Native American women going through things in the other apartment.

She asked what they were doing and one of the women said "It's okay my home girl lives here."

The neighbor told her that a man lived there.

The police were called and responded. Roy was among those arrested in connection with the incident and later charged with a felony count of second degree burglary and her bond was set at $2,500.

On Sept. 29, 2006 she was released on bond under the pre-trial release program, a program that was put in place to help relieve overcrowding at the county jail.

She then failed to appear for a Jan. 3, 2007 court appearance and bond was endorsed at $10,000.

If anyone has any information on the location of Margaret D. Roy.

Please call your local law enforcement or the Ponca City Police Department at 580-767-0370 or crimestoppers at 580-762-5100.

I do hope they get her. Her only hope of a better life is to be caught so she will learn her lesson/
