Captured and Sentenced

Jeremy Blair Breedlove, 35, Oklahoma City, pleaded guilty in Kay County District Court to a felony count of escape from the department of corrections on Oct. 20.

He was sentenced to an additional three years in prison.

Breedlove disappeared from Bridgeway on Aug. 3.

He was discovered missing during a search of the facility on that date.

Breedlove was assigned to Bridgeway to serve a portion of his sentence.

Bridgeway is a halfway house located in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

It is contracted to provide work offender release services to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.

Breedlove had been sentenced to eight years on a charge of grand larceny out of Oklahoma County.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections Web site, Breedlove's criminal background includes charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle; second degree burglary, and concealing stolen property, all from 1994.

In 1995 he was charged with escape from a penitentiary.

In 2003 he was charged with larceny of merchandise from a retailer.

In 2008 he was charged with obstructing an officer, two counts of grand larceny, and larceny of merchandise from a retailer.

All of the charges except one occurred in Oklahoma County. A charge of larceny of merchandise occurred in Canadian County.

    Wow, a prison escape. How in the world, with today's technology does that man hope to escape being found?
