One man blames bingo for molesting, the other blames the girl.
Child molesters in two different cases blame others for their actions.
There are no reasons or excuses for child molestation. Yet, 49 year old Floyd Kinney Jr. sought to blame his wife's bingo playing for molesting two young girls. According to records, between 1992-1997, Kinney molested the first known victim and for a year in 2005, Kinney abused the second girl. The abuse is rationalized by Floyd Kinney, Jr. because his wife went to play bingo 3-4 times a week.
"Some people, when their wives are not home, decide to do other things, like clean their living rooms," Judge Kimberly McFadden stated to Kinney in a report by Associated Press. "Your behavior is beyond the pale."
Floyd Kinney, Jr. pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated indecent assault that carries prison time of only a maximum of 20 years. It is not reported whom the young victims are in relation to Kinney or whether they lived in the home with the couple at the time of the assault.
In another case, Carlton Maus pleaded guilty to first-degree rape but says the girl, a 9 year old, "instigated" sex with him. Maus will be sentenced Jan. 16 and is expected to serve only 15 years in prison. It is reported that Carlton Maus is related to the victim and when she came for a visit, he would wait for his wife to leave then assault her.Published by Nikki Daniels

The "grooming" process named by psychologists describes steps in which the molester takes to facilitate their molestations. This process is prevalent where the perpretator has constant contact with the child.

Post a CommentThanks Katie, it's really horrifying. And to think these predators were in some how close contact with these girls for a long duration. Weeks, months, or years.
I am speechless. Those excuses are worse than any I have ever seen before. Great article, though.
