One Nation Rally Today in Washington DC, One Nation Offers an Antidote to Tea Party

Thousands of Liberal Groups Across the US Marching for Working Class Americans

The one nation rally got underway today in Washington DC with thousands of liberal groups across the US marching for working class Americans. The one nation rally is raising awareness for the need of jobs in the US for people who want to work. Other awareness they are making aware is racial profiling and other discrimination in the criminal justice system.

Affordable education and immigration changes and quality is also being addressed during the one nation rally. The Rev. Jesse Jackson encouraged people to vote this year and lobbying for jobs. The government needs to listen to what the American people are asking for and deliver.

If the government decides not to listen when voting time arrives, they may find themselves voted out. Americans are barely getting by and making ends meet. The government had no problem bailing out car companies and loan companies. For many Americans the bail out was a cop-out. If the average family is on the verge of losing their home, will the government bail them out. No, you won't see that happen, because you are expected to pay off your home mortgage. So this leaves the question, why should the car and loan companies receive a bailout?

One nation says they are for the American workers and offer an antidote to the tea party. They are bringing to light serious issues that need addressing before the 2010 elections. The democrats are in danger of being voted out of office in the November elections. If they want to secure their seats, they better step up to the plate and play ball.

Churches, gay rights groups, civil rights and human rights groups, unions and immigration advocates were the ones who marched for the one nation rally in Washing DC. Later in the month, the march will continue shedding even more light. In 29 days Steve Colbert and Jon Stewart will host Stewart's tongue-n-cheek "Rally to Restore Sanity" and Stephen Colbert's "March to Keep Fear Alive" in Washington DC.

Hopefully with today's one nation rally the American people will get what they ask for.
