There will be a number of activities making it a family oriented event, and there will be fun for all ages... even the impossible-to-satisfy teenager. If you don't want to stay home and watch the ball drop, check out the New Years Eve activities being held in Phelps:
Inside New Years Eve activities include:
• Sticky Wall (giant velcro wall, for ages 6 to adult)
• Pony Hop Races (for ages 6 to 12)
• Wii & PS2 Tournaments
• Arts & Crafts
• Card and Board Games
• Play Room for babies and toddlers
• Time Square Ball Coverage
Outdoor activies:
• Outdoor Fire Pits to keep you warm
• Sledding, you bring your own sled and race down the giant hill!
• Snowman Building
• Make your own S'mores
• Watch the Fireworks at 10 PM
All New Years Eve activities are available free of charge, but the Phelps Community Center would like interested parties to call in advance and "register" so that they can ensure there is enough food for everyone. Free appetizers will include: pizza, wings, veggies and dip, cheese and crackers, mozzarella sticks, and so much more.
