One Solitarian Can't Handle a Chair of Nails on Latest Solitary 4.0

Reality Rehash
After forcing the final five to spin until they puked, Solitary 4.0 got even crazier for the final four. After Pod #9 sadly puked her way out of her pod, the other three in the treatment continued to spin until Pod #7 and Pod #3 quick the challenge. They were happy to be saved in the end, but you couldn't tell since they were so drained. To pump them up for their next task, Val gave them a punching bag. All they had to do was punch the bag to let out their frustrations, and in doing so all four gave away some of their inner thoughts. They all delved inside themselves to describe what is keeping them from winning and while Pod #7 showed her graceful lady side, Pod #3 went all crazy woman and let out her angry side!

In the end the punching bag had a purpose. The podmate who could hit the bag the most in an allotted amount of time would get the biggest dinner while each after that would receive a smaller portion. Pod #2 cheated, since he thought everyone else would, and told Val that he hit the bag fifty billion times. He thought he was being smart but Val gave him what he deserved in the end, a meal bar. He's in Val's house and by now he should know that, let's just say that Pod #2 was NOT happy with the bar he thought would be a chicken.

For their next test, and a chance at safety, Val had a unique task for the final four: a virtual maze. They would move through virtual rooms, selecting their next location by going through "doors". In some rooms they would be forced to jump over a huge jump rope, in others they would have to guess a random number. There was only one way to get through the maze and in the end Pod #3 and Pod #6 both were close in finishing. Pod #6 won his third safety in a row though and was yet again sent to the next round. I'm fed up with him being in the game now as he's been there before, knows how things work and will most likely win. I hope he doesn't, since the rest of the cast were much more interesting compared to him.

As the other three sulked before going into their treatment, Val gave them two opportunities to get pumped up. The first dealt with an item from home. Pod #2 got throwing darts which stuck to his mirrors. Pod #3 got a guitar that she doesn't know how to play and Pod #6 got a drum he bought the day before moving into his pod. Pod #7 had the most interesting, a detective kit. It turned into an exorcism though as she removed several things from her body which she felt were hurting her chanced. It was interesting to watch and showed self-motivation can help in the end. The second thing had all four working together in an air-band session. Each had a different instrument to play and it was fun to watch them rock it out, although they probably really had no music to rock out too.

The final four's treatment was a doozy. A chair made up nails and a hat made of nails sat in the middle of their pods and they would have to wear the hat for a certain amount of time. The first round didn't seem to bad, but each round a chain was added to their helmets, adding pressure to the spikes puncturing their heads. Pod #3 had the hardest time as did Pod #7, they were both in obvious pain while Pod #2 didn't really seemed phase. He's boring so I hoped he would go home, but sadly he didn't. Pod #7 went home after getting a pep-talk from herself. She was second to push the red button in most of the treatments but this was her time to go. I had hope she could make it to the end, but now I have to rely on my early favorite Pod #3 to take it home. If Pod #2 wins, it's better then Pod #6 winning. I just wish Pod #2 wasn't on a reality show already and you know, somewhat interesting to watch.
