The theme of week four of "Dancing With The Stars" was movies. Each dancing couple, had to dance to a specific movie score, their objective was a hard one. They had to dance a specific dance while still maintaining the flavor of the movie score that was also chosen for them.
The movie theme brought out many stars to the audience this week. We even saw glimpses of mega star, Cher. Was she in the studio to see listen to the movie scores or to see her Chaz Bono dance? Yes, Chaz is her only child, with Sonny Bono. For this reason, you can bet she was in the studio to help cheer him on tonight. Yet, her fans surely loved the idea of seeing her there.
Yet, the night was not about the famous stars in the audience. It was about the stars on the dance floor. How did the dancers do? Who was the standout of the night? How did the low scorers do tonight
At the end of the night, Ricki Lake was at leader of the pack and Carson Kressley was at the bottom. Yet, as last week showed this doesn't necessarily mean anything when it comes time for the home voters to cast their vote. Anything can help on elimination night.
For now, however, here is how the dancers stand and a brief look on how they did for the night, according to order of performance:
Chynna Phillips and Tony Dovolani: They danced a Tango to the movie score of "Mission Impossible." Judge Bruno stated that she lost the plot. He went on to say that she wanted it so badly that she lost the thread. Judge Carrie Ann stated that she lost her place. But went on to say that she didn't lose her composure. They scored a score of 21.
David Arquette and Kym Johnson: They danced a Paso Doble to the movie score of "Indiana Jones." Judge Bruno stated the he loved the way he cracked his whip. He also loved his turns. Judge Carrie Ann sated that David saved the day. She also stated every minute of it. They scored a score of 23.
Carson Kressley and Ana Trebunskay: They danced a Viennese Waltz to the movie score of "Pirates of the Carribbean." Judge Len stated that like childbirth it was terrible while it was happening and then joy when it is over. Yet, he also stated that it was fun. Judge Bruno stated that he lost the steps many times. Yet, he also stated that it was fun. They scored a score of 20.
Nancy Grace and Triston McManus: They danced a Paso Doblo to the movie score of "Flash Gordon." Judge Len stated that it lacked expression. He also stated that he couldn't get excited about it. Judge Bruno stated that she didn't need to hide behind anything. They scored a score of 21.
Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovkiy: They danced a Fox Trot to the movie score of "Toy Story." Judge Bruno stated that the dance was lovely. Judge Carrie Ann stated that it made her smile the whole way through and that it was well done. They received a score of 24.
Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke: They danced a Paso Doble to the movie score of "Superman." Judge Carrie Ann stated that she liked the way he moved. She went on to say that he was very steady and strong. Len stated that he liked it. They received a score of 24.
Ricki Lake and Derek Hough: They danced a Tango to the movie score of "Psycho." Judge Len stated that they were top of the leader board, he thinks so. Judge Carrie Ann stated: "Brilliance in the ballroom." They scored a score of 29 (two tens and one nine).
Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer: They danced a Paso Doble to the movie score of "Rocky." Judge Bruno stated that no matter how many knocks he takes he keeps fighting and getting stronger. Judge Len stated that it was his best dance to date. They scored a score of 21.
JR Martinez and Karina Smirnoff: They danced a Fox Trot to the movie score of "The Pink Panther." Judge Len stated that this was the best male dancer of the night. He thought that there was just enough humor. Judge Bruno stated you're great. They scored a score of 26.
Who will be eliminated tomorrow night? It is anyone's guess.
