There are so many benefits to joining a baseball camp. It teaches your child basic discipline, endurance, teamwork and gives them a chance to learn more about the sport that they love. Mesa, Arizona Baseball Camp
We are going to make our way over to Arizona where they start their camp rather early. President's Day Winter Camp begins February 14 and goes to the 16th. If you are between nine and eighteen, you can be a part of this camp. Depending on the package that you choose, the cost of the camp is anywhere between $315 and $575. This camp is in Mesa, Arizona at Red Mountain Park.
There are many benefits in this camp. There is more one on one with each player. You will meet professional players as well as recieve verbal assessment of skills throughout the camp session. There are scrimmage games as well as 26 hours of professional instruction. You will get a T-shirt and poster. Lunch will be served as well. If you stay all night, there is an additional $200 fee. Little League Camp in Lorton, Virginia
Beginning February 23rd through April 3rd, your little leaguer can enjoy baseball camp. It is held once a week for 6 weeks. If your child is between the age of 6 through 12, they are qualified for this camp. There are several types of camps to choose from. Such examples include pitching and catching. Each camp is $135. Doyle Baseball Training
Doyle Baseball has been around for 30 years. They pride themselves to be one of the best baseball training teams around. There are several camps throughout the year and they are gearing up for their spring sessions. There are several tests that each student will undergo. Many of these test will include hitting, pitching, running, catching, throwing. Not to mention, grip strength, leg power, flexibility as well as the 60 yard dash amongst other skills.
This February's sessions will be held at Tigertown Complex, home of the Detroit Tigers. The march and April sessions will be held at Bonny Park in Lakeland, Florida. Lunch is provided for the students and prices vary. Please visit the website for more information.
America's Pastime
There are baseball programs that can be found at America's Pastime baseball programs. These camps are held in Maryland. They specialize in preparing kids for a career in baseball and all the essentials to get them there.
