One Thing, So Many Healthy Benefits = Water

Well about 4 months ago I tired my best to only drink water and not give into my cravings of soda and chocolate. I mean if something as simple as water could help me take a steps towards being healthier - why not try it. Although the first month was difficult I must say, now I always crave for water and it is actually something that I look forward too. More then half of our body weight is water. So it is obviously very important! Water helps our body function properly.

Immune systems - water prevents illness, it is the means of removing waste and bacteria from our bodies.
Digestive system - water helps our body brake down food.
Perspiration - water keeps us cool when we need to, main ingredient in our sweat is water, and perspiration is another way of removing waste from the body.
Circulatory system - water helps keep our blood moving, if our blood is moving at a good speed then it means our heart is working at a good speed - it is also one of the main ingredients in blood.
Water can also affect our breathing and thinking (respiratory and nervous system) If we do not have enough water in our body, our cells, who reply enormously on water, would not function well. Plus the whole dehydration (very little water in the body) issue weakens our body and so we are not able to think or breathe or function properly.
If all of this has not change your mind, here is a good question - Do you have acne, pimples on your face or body. If yes, water is your best friend! Drinking a lot of water can help clear your pimples. (I am not lying, it has worked on me). You might not need that cleanser or pimple cream after all.
Ever had the feeling that your skin is dull, rough, just so unbalanced, well another secret for healthy, glowing, younger and refreshing skin is Water.
A cold glass of water can be a great way to start the day, and plus cold water can help a person control hunger (but one must be responsible, and not deprive him or herself from nutrition).

Alright so water is really really healthy, especially during the summer.

Here is a tip in letting you know if you need to drink more waterA small but interesting tip, if you see that your pee is a darker yellow color, it means that your body is trying hard to hold on to water and that you need more. If your pee is a light yellow or almost clear, it means that your have a healthy amount of water in you. One more thing, bottled water can be a healthier choice then tap water, but if your going to drink tap water, be sure to let the water run for the first 20 to 30 seconds before drinking up. This helps clear out any toxins or led that is dwelling in the pipe lines.
Keeping water with you where ever you are makes it likely to drink water. I like to carry a bottle of water with me, may it be at college, going some where or even at home. This is a good reminder and I always have this feeling of accomplishment. one can also drink flavored water - by adding Crystal Light flavors to water (but only about a pinch).

Remember though that to much or to little of something can both be bad, we must be smart and listen to our body.
