One Voter's Response to Pres. Obama's State of Union Address and Opposing Rebuttal's
Officials State of the Union Address and Official Republican Rebuttal Noteworthy but Unofficial Response was Senseless
President Obama honored past and present American's with his critical thinking and problem solving ideas while honoring citizens, military, educators, government officials, gays, rescuers, adults, teens, and children plus those recently killed and/or seriously injured through violence. His words were organized, thought provoking, clear and to the point, and most importantly bi-partisan. What is it going to take for those who do not back him to forget their different political views and get down to doing their jobs to fix our exonomy by being civil, open minded, and willing to be bi-partisan. How many other President's of this great United States have ever even taken the time to discuss partisan solutions, hold strategic planning sessions with both sides, or acknowledged those that oppose them in a positive manner.
The Republican and Tea Party Express can't even agree on what their rebuttal is nor who is official or official spokepersons. Paul Ryan in his Official Republican rebuttal was well spoken and told his summary of opposing views in an adult manner but Ms. Bachman' rebuttal from Tea Party Express seemed like a board room commerical that she put together by using old graphs and outdated information.. She appeared in disarray not only of words and meaning but in how see put together this useless second unofficial rebuttal that did not even represent the Offical Tea Party. Let us all remember that Tea Party Express is trying to give her even camera time so that voters know her name but not her agendas.
The Tea Party Express is not the Offical Spokesperson's for the Official Republican Party nor for the Official Tea Party which may have confused alot of viewers and continued to separate all politicans and parties from our democracy standards of our consitutional bill of rights and declaration of independence. It should be made public where the funds come for Ms. Bachman to have gotten elected, serve, and present herself as an Official representative for Tea Party Groups. Keep in mind she fooled voters into voting for her to get into the office she holds now so that she can have an audience to run for President of our United States of America, God helps us all if that ever happens.
There has never been a perfect President nor Vice President of this United States but many have been honorable, dedicated, and qualified to be are Chief and Leader no matter what party that favor. It does not matter if you are Democrate, Independent, or Republican when the citizens of the United States vote you into office it would seem that you would be civil and do your best to help American citiizens have a safe and prosperouse life instead of throwing darts at each other based on differences of opinion. It is wonderful when candidates for office publicly debate issues effecting us all but none of them have the right to be so negative, so demeaning, and so self centered to the point that they hurt our chances of ever becoming bi-partisan.
During our President's State of The Union address it was very impressive to watch all who were there make the choices of where to sit, what to clap for, and to acknowledte each other with civility rather than silence, boo's, or other ignore mannerisms. The President's choice to ackknowledge the official guests with honorary them was heartwarming as was he words about and to not only Vice President but to our New Speaker of The House.
This writer is of the opinion that if there is ever going to be a second rebuttal from anyone about the State of The Union regardless of party that all parties involved most vote on who it is that is the spokesperson's, Officially. Please let us have no more UnOfficial separatist responses from self promoting future candidates for President of our United States. We all have our own political views, chosen party affifiations, and favorite news shows but it is time to fix the lack of bi-partisanship and civility from spokepersons who are not only Official but self serving misinformed wanting their limited claim to fame at our expense.
