In Germany the teams raced to a paragliding Road Block. Tammy and Victor arrived first with Tammy taking on the task. A twist to the paragliding road block was that if the wind conditions were not good enough to fly they could wait or walk down the mountain, taking an hour hike. While everyone arrived up the mountain the two lagging teams finally arrived in Germany. Considering so many had to wait for the wind to stabilize, they sure had a shot of catching up. Back up on the mountain Tammy hiked down and several others followed along. Only Mel ended up staying for the wind as the rest raced down. His groin was pulled during the cheese task, making it impossible for him to run down the hill. He waited so long that the other teams caught up, meaning they were instantly in last place.
With everyone running down the mountain, except for Mel, it looked like him and Mike were doomed. But a sudden change of events made things ok for Mel to fly, giving him the advantage they needed. As Mel got ready to glide down the mountain, Tammy arrived from running and set her and her brother off to the next location. Margie/Luke, Amanda/Kris, and Victoria/Brad also arrived down the mountain and were off as well. They had to drive to some random location that nobody really had a clue of. Linda took the Road Block to try and prove herself but made things worse. She's already a slow runner but apparently she can't follow directions either. With Mel down and Mike landing from the cart lift they were off, well ahead of the last place teams. Thank you wind!
For the rounds Detour the teams had to either ride a segway through an obstacle course or throw pies at each others faces. I know I'd be on that segway in two seconds but I can see why the pie one would be fun as well. It's based on luck though and those generally take forever. Tammy and Victor found their cherry filled pie rather quickly and they were sent to a robotic wood cutter to gain a piece of wood stamped with their next clue. They learned their Pit Stop was at a castle like estate and were off in a fairly good chance of getting first. Back at the Road Block the rest of the teams landed down from the mountain, except for Linda. She was wondering off down the mountain on the wrong path which sent her to a road. She had no clue where she was and began crying, thinking that Steve would hate her. I'm pretty sure he's gonna be considering how he screamed at her last time!
As she wondered what to do on the road, Linda decided to ask someone for help. A kind lady ended up driving her back to the cable cars but things weren't looking good considering Tammy/Victor were checking into the Pit Stop already. Nobody was even at the Detour before they checked in, could they be the new Nick and Starr? Kris and Amanda then arrived at the Detour and also decided to take the pie throwing task. They haven't really been shown since the show started but it looks like they could be a team to beat. Finally back at the cable car place Steve acted kindly towards Linda and the team was FINALLY off to the Detour. Others were completing it though as Mike/Mel took the segway and Margie/Luke did the pie. He didn't really want to do it but did so to appease his mom. The segways seemed to be faster this time around as Mike/Mel passed the mom/son. Just in time too considering Victoria/Brad just arrived for some pie throwing fun as well!
With many arriving at the Detour the sisters were having some communication problems. They took a wrong turn, which could prove beneficial for lagging behind Steve and Linda. Luke/Margie and Victoria/Brad both finished the pie around the same time which sent them off to the Pit Stop. Several others also arrived and took the segway task, doing the safer bet but possibly longer task. Arriving at the Pit Stop earlier then Amanda/Kris, Mel and Mike tried to go through a gate which took them forever to open. That put them in the second spot, following closely by Amanda and Kris. Margie and Luke then came in fourth followed by Brad and Victoria. As others finished the segway task they also arrived at the mat with Jamie/Cara coming in sixth. Jodie/Christie just finished the pie fight as Steve/Linda arrived and had a great lead. Only problem was they had a blonde moment and didn't understand the wood cutting part. They thought they had to cut a piece of wood, but in reality it was a robot who cut it for them.
Linda and Steve were able to finish the pie throwing before Christie and Jodi found the wood. That gave them the chance they needed to stay and allowed them to continue pushing on. With four teams still yet to check in it wasn't obvious who would be leaving. Some had direction issues while others simply were lagging from the challenge. Linda and Steve were actually able to get on the right track to Phil which gave them a good shot of staying. But as they raced against the girls, Kisha/Jen ended up landing in seventh while Mark/Mike came in eighth. That meant Jodi/Christie or Linda/Steve would be going for sure and both arrived at the same time. It was coming down to a foot race once again and the girls arrived just in time. Christie and Jodi survived yet again, putting Linda and Steve in a sad last. Although they were annoying last episode they pulled it together this time around. Sadly Linda's lack of direction put them in the bottom and is the reason they were eliminated. But look at it this way, now they can head off to Thailand and relax at the Elimination Station.
