OneSpirit Book Club

I began my membership almost two years ago. The introduction package is a good one. Five books for two dollars, plus shipping and handling. That works out to 0.40 a book. Of course, the catch is you have to buy four more books within two years. This is a good amount of time to fulfill your commitment.

When you order the first five books, you have the option to buy two more at half price. I did this. So I only had to buy two more books within two years. If one of the books you choose for your introduction package is regularly more then $27.00 dollars is will be 0.80 and count as two books.

If you decide you don't want the books after you get your introduction package, you just simply send it back within 20 days. I think they even pay to ship it back. Remember by keeping the books it means you agree to the membership agreement. With the extra books, the total for my introduction package, shipping, and all was around $35.00 dollars

The prices are decent, and if you do not think so just wait a little the price will, more then likely go down. I have seen this happen.

One Spirit Book Club has Books, CD's, DVD's, on a variety of subjects like Self-Help, Alterative Medicine, Natural Healing, Yoga, Chakras, Wicca, Buddhism, Natural Dieting, Reiki, Astrology, Christian faith, Creative Crafts, Home Decorating, Gardening, Pets and their Health, and even some "Adult" Books. Pretty much something for everyone, But they do have more "Alterative" selections. Books from authors such as Silvia Brown, Rosy-Mary Ellen Guiley, Gregory Maguire, to even Martha Stewart you are bound to find something you will like. I really join for the tote they sent with the first five books as a gift. However, it worked out good.

You are sent a catalog twice a month. Like a Music Club ( ) There is a reply card/order form in with the catalog that shows you what the Featured Selection(s) is, and if you don't respond some how that you want it or not they will send it by the date on the reply card. It is simple to stop the Featured Selection; you can go online or call the Phone number in the box at the right top corner of your reply card/order form. It is not toll-free, but they do have one you just have to ask for it. I have called a few days after the "will be sent by "date and it didn't show up, but I try not to make a habit of doing that late.

One Spirit has a Bonus Point system when you buy a book over 10.00 dollars you get one point. The higher your total the more points you get. But, not for any of the gifts or any thing other then books.

Always read the second to last page of the catalog that is where the details on the sales or Bonus Points, Discounts. Like if you buy only books that are on sale or clearance, they will charge you full (Club) price for the most expensive one. Stuff like that you need to know.

I am glad I have bought all the books I have too. I still get catalogs but at least now I do not have to worry about finding something to buy.

A short biography huh, well none of my stories are short and most people wouldn't believe them anyways. I had some crazy stuff happen to me. I'm a Cha Cha Guide, blogger, freelance writer/web designer,...  View profile

I love One Spirit book club! I joined years ago, and every once in a while I go on there site and indulge in a shopping spree.

To those who are getting statements or books in the mail that you didn't order; at one point you must have joined the site. One Spirit likes to make recommendations of books they have on site and give you about a month to respond to the recommendation. If you don't respond then they will send the book to you and the bill. It is a book club after all. So, I would suggest going to the site and ending your membership or logging in every once in a while to make sure there aren't any recommendations that need your attention.

I keep recieving a statement quoting I have ordered a book titled "Be happy w?o food" Which, in all reality dosen't make sense, so, why would I buy the written version to live buy? Please take me off your'list and stop sending me statements that I owe this money for a subject matter which dose't interest me. Adora Thayer
