OneStat is a free website tracking tool that gives you detailed analysis of how users are accessing your site and how often. The tool is completely free for the most basic version and you can easily install it with just a bit of code in your source code on your webpage. The tool has a simple web interface that allows you to check a wide range of statistics and track what is going on with the traffic that comes to your website.

OneStat is free, but of course it's only free for the basic package but this package seems to be the bare minimum that you need to get effective information about the traffic to your site. OneStat free is password protected, tracks an unlimited number of web pages, and tells you everything about the visitors to your website. Then you can use this information to update your site and cater to your users.

The basic version allows you to do the following easily

  • See how many visitors and page views you receive
  • See who your visitors are
  • Which pages of your site are the most popular
  • See how your visitors find you site and where they come from
  • See the browsers your visitors are using

Well they give you a password protected access to your traffic and details about your traffic. You are able to track as many web pages as you want, they give you fast, free, and reliable services. They also help you get traffic with their free categorization of your website; you will also receive free traffic reports via email.

All of this is included in their free service, it's a pretty good deal and you will be hard pressed to find a comparable deal. So how do you get the counter? Well just go to (http://www.onestatfree.com/) and register for an account. Once you have an account then follow these instructions in the email that OneStat sends you, they are pretty in-depth, well written, and easy to follow. Once you have done all of the code changes and are registered the OneStat tracker will start logging important information about your website and send it to the web interface at (http://www.onestatfree.com/). OneStat also offers other versions of the web site tracking device, I have never used any of them so I can't tell you if they are worth the money. The free version gives me a little information about my website traffic and is ample information for me. I don't need anything more, but if you do then you might want to research the other versions and even contact the OneStat support team and find out more about the other products the offer and what they do.

Then all you have to do is logon to your OneStat account and see what is going on at your webpage. It's free so it can't hurt to try it, you can always delete your OneStat account and remove the code from your webpage if you don't think it is worth it. Thanks and enjoy the free program!
