Online Article Writers Tips - Finding Your Writing Groove

Jaipi Sixbear
There is no one way to write. I'm often asked how I get so much work done in a day. People want to know what my secret is. I've shared my secret in at least one article, possibly more. Still, what works for one person may not work for another. Every writer has their own way of getting things done. It took me several years to find my groove. It may take you the same amount of time. It may take you less. Even so, it's a fun trip, so enjoy the ride.

Trial and error is how I found my simplest writing method. How I write is really a combination of tips from other writers and my own experience. Sometimes I learned through failure. Other times success was my best teacher. There is no one way to write because everyone has had different experiences that shape their brain function.

Organization is my friend. I'm not talking about complicated charts and graphs. I often hear others talking about recording all their work, making calendars and such. I'm a big fan of simplification. I always look for the quickest and most efficient path to my goal. That's why outlines work well for me. If I don't know where I'm going, how can I get there? I use outlines as road signs to point me in the direction I want my thoughts to take.

How do you solve problems? Finding your writing groove might be as simple as learning how your mind works. Think of your article as a problem you need to solve. My brain works best step by step. Once again, that's where outlines come in. If I write my sub-headings out first, each paragraph becomes a quick little article. Completing each paragraph brings me one step closer to my goal of completion.

What if you're not like me? My writing style is different than a lot of the writers I learned from. Finding your writing groove sometimes means trying other writers tips until you find the magic formula. You might take a piece of advice from me and one from another writer to find your best method. Finding out what works best for you is like going on a treasure hunt. Don't be in a hurry. Have fun with it.

You can't buy experience. There is no instant fix for finding your groove. It's a struggle you have to go through on your own. Forget about purchasing self help books to teach you how to be a better writer. All the advice you need can be had for free online. Talk to your fellow writers. Read their work. Learn their styles. Chances are you'll run across the right combination of advice to formulate your own success story.

Absolutely spot on. It is all trial and error, but if you're lucky enough to find that groove -- and recognize that you've found it -- you've almost got it made. And it is time to get to work...
