The following breast cancer support groups have been highlighted by many organizations and have many active participants. Never join in a forum that asks for money at registration time, more than likely this is a scam as all forums are free.
Living beyond cancer is an online breast cancer support group that has many great topics in their forums for the breast cancer patient or survivor to join in. This is a very active list with over 200 members and 360 topics. You can find them at LBBC.org.
Another online support groups for breast cancer to be talked about is the NSW Breast Cancer Institute. This breast cancer support group is located in Australia but since the internet is worldwide all can join and receive support. They have a lot of available information on the main website for breast cancer as well as mailing lists to join. They are located at BCI.org.au.
The Young Survival Coalition is another really wonderful breast cancer support group online. This is one of the better online support groups for breast cancer and they have many topics on the forum for patients and survivors to join in. You can find them at YoungSurvival.org.
Breast Cancer Care.org is much like other online support groups for breast cancer however they have a very large member data base, numbering over 17,000 members to date. The forums have special ways of letting you connect with people who are at the same stage as you are in your fight, you can send private messages if you are not comfortable with public talk about your condition and they have live chats on Thursday evenings at 9 pm. They can be found at BreastCancerCare.org.uk.
At Yahoo.com in the Groups section there are many support email groups to read about and join that you can find on Health.dir.Groups.Yahoo.com. This listing page has a total of 595 pages of groups all concerning Breast Cancer. That seems like a lot but this large assortment will allow you to tailor your group experience to your specific needs.
Whichever online support groups for breast cancer you choose you will find you will be in loving and caring hands with other survivors and patients to help you along the way.
