After a person has been diagnosed with breast cancer, they will have many questions and while the medical staff is the first place to start at with these questions, sometimes you will need to get additional support from people who have actually gone through the journey of breast cancer. Those who have walked the halls of treatment centers as well as those people who have been in the many trials and survived are the people who can really give you support. This breast cancer support group is located in Australia but since the internet is worldwide all can join and receive support. They have a lot of available information on the main website for breast cancer as well as mailing lists to join. They are located at BCI.org.au.

The Young Survival Coalition is another really wonderful breast cancer support group online. This is one of the better online support groups for breast cancer and they have many topics on the forum for patients and survivors to join in. You can find them at YoungSurvival.org.

At Yahoo.com in the Groups section there are many support email groups to read about and join that you can find on Health.dir.Groups.Yahoo.com. This listing page has a total of 595 pages of groups all concerning Breast Cancer. That seems like a lot but this large assortment will allow you to tailor your group experience to your specific needs.
