We all love candy. From soft to hard and chocolate to sour, Every person enjoys the sweet stuff for a quick boost of energy to reliving one's youth. Candy is in every part of the world and most are unknown to the others. Most people are adventurous and are will to try new things, but others just want to find those long lost candies of their youth. Unfortunately, the local mega-mart does not carry all of the goodies that one remembers. This article offers six websites that will help find those hard to find candies from bygone eras or to help you try something new. Each site was chosen based on quality, ease of use as well as price. Each site offers shipping via Federal Express or UPS and most offer sales on candy.

Balboa Candy - www.balboacandy.com. Root Beer Barrels to Salt Water Taffy are only two of the more well known candies this site has to offers. Some of its more unusual and older candies include Flicks and Coconut Longboys. This site offers sugar-free treats.

Candy Crate - www.candy-crate.stores.yahoo.net. One of the largest online candy stores there is. From kid's candy to adult themed delicious candy treats to share (yes, you have to be 18 to enter that portion of the site), this site has them all. Even candy making supplies are offers, to help you create your own sweet treat. One of the few sites that offer penny and kosher candy as well as gift baskets that give a variety of candies from the 1940s through the 1990s.

Rock of Ages Candy Store - www.rockofagescandy.com. A good place to good for those hard to find candy bars such as Ice Cubes and Sky Bars. Also offers a wide selection of Pez items and more unusual candy such as Mallow Cups and Squirrel Nut Zippers.

The Sugar Stand - www.sugarstand.com. Rock candy in a rainbow of colors and flavors. Offers sugar-free candy as well as bulk candy items. This site also has nostalgic and hard candy as well as cotton candy tubs and even the every popular M&Ms. This also offers articles on this history of the wide variety of different candies.

Global Candy Shop - www.globalcandyshop.com. From the United States to New Zealand, this site helps you find a worldwide assortment of candy. One does not shop directly from this site, but links you to other sites that offer that countries candy. The only drawback is that the prices are in that countries currency, but it is still a good site to explore to see the world's view of candy.

Stupid - www.stupid.com. The site's name says it all. The strange and unusual types of candy have found a home here. From Grog flavored mints to Sushi Lollipops, one is sure to find something unexpected, gross, but utterly tasty treat for themselves or as a gift.
