Online Christian Community Poll Favors Mike Huckabee and Barack Obama

According to a PRNewsire.com press release, Godtube.com, has reported more than 40,000 people responded to their online 2008 presidential election poll geared towards the Christian community.

In the non-scientific poll, so far Republican candidate Mike Huckabee is leading the poll with 51.6% of the votes; Senator Barack Obama is second with 16.8% and Senator Hillary Clinton coming in third with 10.3%.

Godtube.com expanded the online poll by adding important campaign questions, and networking social pages for the major candidates. Users of the website and the candidates themselves submit video clips and content. These candidate pages will provide user and candidate feedback. It also provides exclusive election material on an ongoing basis.

Concerns about the election from the Christian voters include the economy which comes in at 49.8%, followed by the war at 16.8%, health care 16.5%, immigration 11.1% and crime at 5.7%.

Social issues are also a major concern for Christian voters on Godtube.com. 28.5% of those polled find the issue of socialized federal healthcare a top priority, restrictions on religious free speech at 26.2%. Same sex marriage at 23.8% and finally access and funding for abortions at 21.5%.

Candidate Mike Huckabee praises the website:

"The reason GodTube is an important part of the election process is the whole point of being a Christian is to penetrate the darkness, it's to preserve the things that are spoiling. GodTube is helping to be that bridge to help get people from the world of the spiritual, into the mission field of politics."

With rumors about Barack Obama actually being Muslim, the questions about Mitt Romney's Mormon faith and the straight talk from Huckabee about him being a Christian, religion has been a major part of this presidential election.
"Our Christian user base is very vocal and active in the election. We look forward to having the leading candidates participate in this interactive community by engaging our users online with video commentary and live town hall style chats." Chris Wyatt, CEO and founder of GodTube.com explains.

Godtube.com is fast growing online community which allows users to explore their Christian faith on the web. Having more than 50,000 videos offering a diverse array of video content, ranging from powerful personal testimonials to fun youth-oriented videos and sermons, Godtube.com welcomes all denominations of the Christian faith.

Add me to the Obama side of the poll. Pathetic that the Republican supposed Christian country has created such an atmosphere of hate towards Muslim that a Christian has to resort to getting a white church member to speak on behalf of his Trinty church to dispel myths. Obama shows his belief through actions and he knows that a President's job is to represent all of the citizens not just Christians and all those judged by people, not by God, to be acceptable as human beings. Our once somewhat decent country has turned citizens into Nazi Germans with their killer rage and hatred to anyone they disapprove of especially Muslims. The Christian Bible does warn early followers to beware of false prophets. Small consultation that many who profess to be Christian face eternity in hellfire for supporting the current crop of Republicans, Bush, Cheney and the lying Clintons.
