Online Cooking Games for Children

If your child enjoys helping out in the kitchen, perhaps he/she may be inspired by virtual cooking games online. The Internet provides plenty of online kitchens for your child to bake and cook their own creations and serve hungry customers! Some games require a little speed, coordination and some creativity and some online cooking games might just inspire your child to become a famous chef!

For the small chef who enjoys baking and creating treats, let your child bake some cakes in the game, "Cake Mania." Young children get to play, "Jill" who opens up her own bakery so that she can save her own grandparents' bakery. Customers come in with their orders for cakes, and your child must create the shape, flavor and icing before it gets picked up. Level up by preparing so many orders and earning points for quick timing and finishing all of the orders for the day. As children complete each level, they receive cash to buy extra items for the bakery to make the job of creating cakes easier and quicker.

When sushi and Chinese food is a favorite amongst your child, try the game, "Busy Sushi Bar." Get ready to serve all of the hungry customers who begin giving out their sushi orders. You must complete the orders by creating each sushi order in a timely matter so that the customers do not get furious as they wait. A child can learn about the different kinds of sushi as they prepare the orders. This game could be played by those who are aged seven and up.

To get a grip on the simpler creations such as sandwich making, kids can play the "Breakfast Sandwich Shop." Hungry kids enter the shop and request the orders, and then you must start creating their sandwich orders. The ingredients are laid out in a somewhat "Subway" style, and children must select which ingredients are needed to make the sandwiches. Breakfast Sandwich shop could be played by children who are aged eight years old and up.

Do your children enjoy the savory test of a mouth watering burger? Try playing a game at "Big Bobs Burger Joint." This game is somewhat more difficult as you must learn how each kind of sandwich is made and the ingredients that are included. If you are ever unsure of how a sandwich is made though, you can consult with the recipe book. An order is placed at the counter, and you must cook each item on the order along with the drink as well. If the customer's order isn't cooked on time, they will leave, and you proceed onto the next one. Before you begin the game, you go through training as you would any other day to learn the ropes. The first day, your goal is to make the required amount of money. If you fail, you must try again. "Big Bobs Burger Joint" would be at a level for children aged ten years or older.

So if your child is an inspiring chef, and enjoys creating food, or being head of their own kitchen, try out some of the available cooking games on the Internet. This can give them the knowledge that they need in the kitchen, or perhaps even prepare for job in the outside world when they are older. Games such as these also help younger ones put items in order and how to follow directions. The best thing about cooking games is that they are safe, entertaining and do not have any kind of violence. You can feel at ease knowing your children are playing family friendly games.

Ariana, this is an amazing information! Children can learn to cook, inspire to become chef but it also helps children to learn cook and eat healthy meals.
