Online Dating Scams

Many times men and women who have not been successful at the dating game often turn to online dating. In my experiences in the online dating, I have talked with many women from many different countries and dating websites. Many of these dating websites are legit, but require fees before being able to contact other men and women. Many times I have been contacted by women on these websites, trying to entice me to subscribe. I did subscribe to a few of those websites, never to hear again from those certain women. Many times, I was never contacted by any women on those websites. What happens then, well, you are out of monies ranging from $10.00 a month in upwords of $50.00 or more. Yes ladies and gentlemen, you have lost your money, as most I have found to be totally phoney.

Another thing you may receive is in your emails, most commonly, a woman who wants to learn of your structure, or anything more about you. Most often times, these women claim they are from Russia, Nigeria, West Africa, or the United kingdom. When they email you, you are seeing a very attractive woman who claims that she can not find love in her own country and seeks to find a new love in another country, that country, thus, being where you live. There are also men who do this very same thing. Once they start communicating with you, they make you feel like you are special, and want to be with you. In fact, they want to come and marry you. This often occurs after the sixth or seventh emails that have been exchanged between the two.

Then comes the big shock, they are in trouble and they do not have enough money to pay for their airline tickets in order to come and be with you. They often communicate with you on how much they care for you, and about you, and how much they desire to be with you. So any normal man or woman thinks, well, that sounds like a lot of money, which usually amounts to between $400 on upwards of $2,000, but it is well worth it because I am going to marry this man or woman. I have finally found happiness, they think, and then they get ready to send the money. Instructions come to your email on where and when to send the money, usually by via Western union. They also provide full names and addresses, or so you think, and then money is sent.

Guess what, the Joke is on you!!!! There is no such woman, of no such name, of no such address. They money you have sent, GONE!!!!! For real, GONE!!!! Men and women are left broken hearted, and out of the money they sent. In my own experiences, I was the victim of such an action. I was communicating with a woman who was suppossed to live near me in the next major city, but modelling in West Africa. We emailed back and forth and on the seventh email exchange, I was told by her, that she was stuck there in West Africa, and needed money to come home and that every cent would be repaid upon her arrival here. Although, I was a little skeptical, I got the monies needed, $400, and sent it. Guess what, the joke was on ME!!!. No such woman existed with the name and address she gave to me.

Ladies and gentlemen, what is really going on here is that there are online scammers who pose as men and women seeking that special love of their life, seeking to gain very personal information about you and your habits, then using it against you as a weakness so that you will send monies to them, often a fake name and made up address, via Western union. Once money is sent, there is nothing that can be done to stop it, and these scammers, very professional at ripping people off, know your every weakness and know that people are often suckers. I was one of those suckers and now I am wise to them. Never, never, never, under any circumstances send any monies to any men or women in another country, as most times, they are scams and scam artists.

As far as singles and personals websites, there are some that are ok, but most are just out there to drain you and your bank accounts. Registration is free at most personal websites, but before investing anything on a subscription, research should be done to make sure they are a true and real website. Be cautious, because you, your personal information, and your bank accounts are at stake. Also be careful of giving out any personal information to anyone, because most of these men and women will write you directly at your email. Upon emailing back, ask them where they got your email and why they are interested in you. Ask them to be specific because nine times out of ten, they will not be able to be specific with you. My point is this, most dating sites are scams, just out to get your money, and most women from other countries are just made up and I do not want to see what has happenned to me, happen to someone else.
