Online Discounts for Santa's Theme Park in Phoenix, Arizona

One of the greatest things about Christmas time in Arizona is the newly added Santa's Theme Park attraction just outside of Phoenix at Firebird Raceway. If you've had to drive past Firebird at all over the past month or so you may have noticed huge Christmas trees popping up along side the road, as well as elaborate displays of Christmas lights and snowy areas. If you live in the Phoenix area and have even the smallest soft spot for Christmas, this is an attraction that you need to make sure you do not miss.

Last year you could purchase your tickets at Basha's if you wanted to get a discount on them, but I have not seen that special running this year, luckily for you, with a bit of snooping I have dug up a great way to get discounts for the tickets. First off, if you have kids that are under 9 you can simply swing by Circle K and pick up coupons for free child's admission, and it's hard to beat free as a discount. For anyone older than that you just need to go to the website, tickets.visitsantas.com and enter the code "VIP" into the store name box. Depending on the package that you purchase, this will save you anywhere from $3-$10 off of your tickets and they add in more daily specials so be sure to check a few days before you plan your trip. Before any discounts, you are looking at about $19.95 a person, with the discount they drop to $16.95.

Santa's theme park is easy to get to, you'll just take the I-10 East out of the valley to the Wild Horse Pass exit. Hang a right (West) here and then take your first left (South) if you want to park in the paid parking area. You are going to pay $10 per car if you choose to park onsite at Santa's Theme Park. If you don't mind a short walk and don't want to pay the $10 for parking (I thought it was steep all things considered) Then stay on Wild Horse Pass until you get to the 48th Street intersection and turn left there (South). You will see a large business complex right on the corner and as long as you are getting there after hours you can easily grab a spot there and walk to the entrance to the theme park along the side of the road. If you hoof it, expect about a 10 minute walk to the park entrance, well worth the $10 you saved, you'll need it once you're in the park!
