Online Goldmine? a Rhymed Explanation of a Network Application

Is the Little Red "Y" a Good-Deal Guy?

Linda Ann Nickerson
A brand-new deal arrives each day,
A way to work or earn or play,
To click and view the hours away.
But can you move your mouse for pay?

My kids each have a profile page;
A silly adolescent stage.
I made one too, to watch backstage.
But now I have a page for wage.

The teens play at an online place,
A site that rhymes with face or vase;
It's free, but offers just a chase.
And that is why I make my case.

My friends included me, for fun,
In something that has just begun.
We catch each other, on the run,
And rack up change for everyone.

This network pays for clicks and views.
This novelty has made the news.
And cash is something I can use.
Send me a note; I'll send you clues!

The screen, it bears a scarlet strip,
With logo, link, and bargain-chip.
Our friends are at our fingertip,
As we engage in fellowship.

We post our messages and blogs,
Directing readers to our logs,
Cutting through the cyber-fogs
And building up our catalogues.

If you would like to play along,
Use my link; you can't go wrong.
Send a message; tag along.
I'll send directions for a song.

Is this thing really worth a try?
I'll let you know, as days go by.
At least my page views multiply,
From links I post, out on the fly.

Just for fun:

Sounds like fun, but yet another social network? Oh well, we shall see...
