Online Jobs
Writing: First up is probably the simplest and easiest one to get started on making a little money. Depending on your experience and writing skills you can find jobs for online magazines, blogs, etc. Those can pay you pretty well, but are usually for the more experienced writers. If you're a newbie there are many sites where you can sign up and start writing right away. However, these pay very little so don't expect making big bucks here, but the more and more views you get for the articles you write, the more you can get paid. Just remember this method can take awhile depending on how committed you are. Here are a couple of sites for the newbies: Associated Content, Helium, Ehow.
Tutoring: This one may not be the first thought to come to mind while looking for an online job, but with more and more online schools it's only natural there would be online tutors as well. These can be a little bit more tricky because most will want someone with previous experience in this field. However, there are sites where you can apply even if you are a college student or college graduate and you don't have experience. You probably have to do a background check and pass exams to see if you qualify for being a tutor. Also in some cases you may need a video camera or headphones to talk to your students depending on what the tutoring site says. You can make a pretty decent income with this one depending how good it is. Here are a couple of sites to take a look at: Tutor.com, Smarthinking.com, Tutorvista.com.
These are only a few sites and online jobs you can apply for. There are many online jobs out there so don't be discouraged in not finding one. Not only can these jobs be done in the comfort of your own home they can also pay just as well as a part-time job. Remember, the first step is just turning on your computer.
