The Case of the Missing Michael Jackson Portrait and More

DZBO
I got together with some of my friends and they showed me a video called Living With Michael Jackson: A Tonight Special. "Martin Bashir conducts a rare interview with Michael Jackson and is given unprecedented access to the reclusive performer's private life."

This documentary was released February 2003.

I did not like the ending but for what it was, it was OK.

Here are what I think are the best links if you want to see Michael Jackson at his best. This is how I would like to remember him.

Michael Jackson's Most Funniest Moments (A compilation put on YouTube by "ilovemj4life")

Some of this footage was taken from the about video by Martin Bashir but most of it is home videos from Michael Jackson. Michael is the narrator for all three parts. This is a side of the man that most people did not know. The footage I liked the best were when Elizabeth Taylor spent Christmas at Neverland, the children kept pushing Michael into the swimming pool and Michael trying to do some food shopping.

Part 3

Most of us know that Michael was an art collector. They were also close friends with a sculptor and painter named Brett Livingstone Strong. Wikipedia states that, "Strong painted portrait of Michael Jackson entitled The Book which sold for $2.1 million to a Japanese businessman in 1990, making it the most money every paid to a living artist for the sale of a portrait. This rare piece was the only portrait that Michael Jackson sat for an artist's rendering and made its first appearance since 1992 on Thursday July 2, 2009. It was displayed for public viewing in Harlem NY near the Apollo Theatre to honor Michael Jackson."

I find this a little odd because in 1994 the Japanese businessman said the portrait was "missing".

This is what I find interesting. I am wandering what is the story going to be on the work of art.

One last point of interest is Michael Jackson's death certificate.

Notice that the cause of death is listed as "deferred," and "Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said Jackson's brain, or at least part of it, was still being held by investigators and would be returned to the family for interment once neuropathology tests were completed."

I am sad to think that Michael worked so hard to look his best and now will be buried with pieces missing.

Rest in Peace and May God be with You, Michael

At my age I can really say "Been there, done that". I have meet many so called "famous" people that I have lost count of them. I went to many collages, coast to coast, and still learning. Now I want to have...  View profile
