The biggest problem that most people run into with their online sales pitches is making them too 'spammy.' If it looks like a scam, it's probably a scam, at least in the eyes of most people. Make sure they have a legitimate way to contact you and that you'll be able to respond to them when they do. Mostly, be honest and up-front with them. Of course you want to sell what you have to them, but not at the expense of having them never come back because they feel as though they were cheated.
Repeat customers are very, very valuable, especially in poor economic times. An online sales pitch that's nothing but a lie won't keep any customers coming back, and you'll be hurting yourself in the long run, even if you make money in the short term. Don't let yourself fall into that trap because you're trying to make some quick money. You should take the time to build up your business, and you can do that through using an online sales pitch that intrigues and motivates potential customers while still being honest about what they get and how much it actually costs. That's the best way to do business and gain the trust of the people who will be buying from you.
