Online Sources for Modest Summer Clothing
Where Can You Find Summer Clothing for Modest Women and Girls?
To start out let's do some bargain hunting. One of my favorite places to shop online for modest clothing is www.Ebay.com. You need a sense of adventure to shop this way but if you are a savvy auction shopper you can come away with some great deals on lots of modest sundresses, skirts, and even tops. Using "modest" as your search term will bring up a small but usually nice selection to start browsing. Another bargain source of modest premade clothing is www.SimplyModest.com. This website has a very tiny selection of clothing but all of it is appropriate for the modest wardrobe and sold at thrift shop prices.
For those of you who would like to enjoy swimming safely with out exposing too much flesh, which is not only modest it is another way to keep your skin safe in the sun I have a couple options. Www.SharkSuit.com offers a few options that would be great for young girls and teens such as the swim shirts and skirts. However I would probably recommend that you order a size larger than you would normally wear because of the clingy nature of the fabric used. Another source for modest and sun safe swimwear is www.WholesomeWear.com. Wholesome Wear's line is much more geared toward modesty than sun safety and you may find the styles easier to wear. My seven-year-old daughter loved the bright colors of the inner layer.
If you are a person who likes handmade clothing and would like to support home based businesses I highly suggest checking out www.WendysModestDress.com. Wendy along with friends and family create some wonderful clothing items along with many styles of head coverings. The skirts Wendy offers come in many styles and are reasonably priced for handmade items. A gored skirt starts at twenty-seven dollars. If you would like something a little different and fun might I point you in the direction of a wonderful seamstress who makes the most adorable patchwork skirts? You will need to venture into the crazy world of Ebay one more time but I guarantee it is worth it, please visit http://stores.ebay.com/Katies-Skirts and check out Katie's skirts. If you do not see something in your size or colors please email Katie, she does fabulous custom work to your specifications and has a great eye for color combinations. Katie's skirts start at around ten dollars and go up to twenty-five dollars. Shipping is fast and reasonable.
Lastly I offer some more conventional sources for modest clothing for your summer time needs. Www.LandsEnd.com has some great basics for the whole family, check out their overstocks while you are there. Another source of some very pretty modest items is www.Chadwicks.com. Chadwick's also offers a catalog by postal mail in case you like the ease of browsing offline. Chadwick's has many items perfect for attending those summer weddings. Www.Roamans.com is targeted toward the plus sized audience. Their clothing is similar to what you might find at Chadwick's but in the sizes that us fuller figured ladies need, they also have a mail order catalog you can request for free. While www.Tznius.com may not be a mainstream source of clothing it is a wonderful source of ready made clothing for ladies. Tznius focuses mainly on head coverings but their small selection of skirts and dresses are like no other. The Bungee Skirt would be perfect for the lady who enjoys active outdoor activities like hiking. The Bungee skirt boasts that you can even run in it, for twenty-nine ninety-five you cannot go wrong. Tznius offers great shipping rates for your order.
If none of these suggestions works for you there are many more outlets for modest apparel out there. Use www.Google.com and try to find your own hidden treasures online or even visit a listing such as this one at http://stanosheck.com/Modesty.html to find even more links for your modest shopping adventures.

Some wonderful suggestions here. I didn't know you could put "modest" down as a keyword in the Ebay search box and find clothing that way! Thanks for the tips.
