Online Survey Sites that Pay

That line above is something that I have seen for years. The truth is always different. If you are looking to make a job of completing surveys then you are going to be very disappointed. You can make a little pocket change but you will not make mid to high hundreds or even thousands of dollars monthly doing surveys.

That being said, if you are determined you can make $100-$500 monthly (not hourly) doing surveys. You have to know where to look. You have to search the sites name online and see what other people who have used the survey site think of it and most importantly you have to stay away from the scams.

Before we get to the list let me tell you about the scams. In the last few years a number of sites have popped up and in the last 10 years or so, there have been the same paid sites looking to rip you off.

The paid sites is something you would have come across if you have ever typed in paid surveys online at any point. What they are is a bunch of sites that tell you that you can make a lot of money doing surveys. Pay them anywhere from $19.95 to $50 or more and they let you see there compiled list. Many times this so called list is old and outdated. Best case scenario is the list is updated but you just spent a bunch of money getting a list that is widely available for free. You should NEVER pay money to do surveys. Never.

The other sort of a scam that recently began showing up is sites that tell you that you will get $500 dollar gift cards or electronics and other gifts if you fill out the survey. Usually there is fine print all the way on the bottom that tells you, that you will recieve your "gift" only after you have filled out and completed 3 or more sponsor offers. Meaning you have to buy things from their sponsors to actually get this "free" item. Don't do it. Chances are IF you actually get this prize, you will be waiting a long time, if it ever comes at all.

Now what are the benefits of doing online surveys? Well many offer cash incentives and better yet others let you try free products that they want you to test. These are called test products that 90% of the time you get to keep.

Many survey sites have popped up or changed their incentives and now only offer sweepstake entries for completing a survey. Some do this 100% of the time. Others send you sweepstake entry and cash surveys. Some even newer ones are offering points. The points reach a certain amount, lets say 1000 and you can cash it in for $10 or more. Create a special website from Yahoo, Hotmail, Google or some other free email site that is only for your surveys. That way you can be sure to always get your emails whether or not they go to your spam box. Now here is the list of the best and good rated surveys.

The two best of the best survey sites are SurveySpot and Pinecone Research. SurveySpot is simple to join by going to their website. Pinecone is hard. You have to scour the internet for a banner that takes you to a special signup page. Because they are the best everyone wants to join and they only have signups a few times a year, so good luck. Why are they the best? Well every survey they send you they pay you $5. A lot of survey sites only do the sweepstakes or disqualify you for not being male, female, black, white, not living in a certain area, or having a certain income, etc. Not Pinecone. Even better they are one of the sites that send you products to test.

SurveySpot is also great because at least 4 times or more a week they send you paid surveys. Recently I have recieved surveys that pay $10 and $20, plus some that offer smaller incentive amounts that quickly add up. Good luck and I hope you have as much fun and success with surveys as I have had.
