Online Survey Website Review

SurveySpot

Jim Power
If you have been doing surveys for a while like I have then you know about the much needed patience and frustrations encountered along the way. It is difficult finding trustworthy and legit survey websites, but there is a good website for every ten or fifteen scams out there. SurveySpot is one of the few survey websites that you can actually trust, and put some time and effort into. It is simple and straightforward; website navigation is not a hassle with easily accessible surveys.

Signing up is simple, and there are no fees for joining. Your profile will require the basic information about yourself and those living with you; age, gender, etc. The surveys are varied and most do not take any longer than ten to fifteen minutes. SurveySpot rewards you with cash for surveys depending on how long they are, and you can either wait for them to arrive in your email daily, or see what surveys are available on the website. A fifteen minute survey could be worth three to five dollars whereas a forty-five minute survey would be worth ten dollars. Keep in mind that these numbers are on average how long they suggest it takes to complete a survey, but if it only takes you thirty minutes to gain ten dollars that is equivalent to earning twenty dollars an hour!

There are surveys that offer cash rewards and even if you happen to not qualify for a particular survey you still get a small number of entries submitted to their sweepstakes where the prizes vary from electronic-store gift cards, an entertainment system, and a twenty-five dollar grand prize winner. What I like most about SurveySpot is how easy the surveys are. Rarely do I run into a survey i incompatible with the Firefox browser, versus other survey sites that require Internet Explorer all the time. The surveys never take up too much of my time, and it is not difficult to easily qualify for one; boom five dollars in your virtual pocket!

I have been with SurveySpot for over half a year now and earned a little over a hundred dollars just a couple of months ago. It is not much but a little change in the pocket is helpful every now and then for nice dinners or just to splurge without worrying about spending too much. The time to receive payments is fast; I received my first check within a little over two weeks of the request. The only downside with SurveySpot is that if you have done three or four surveys for the day and qualified for none you will end up waiting until the next day. It can be a pain since surveys are the only methods of earning cash on the website. Also, you gain nothing for referrals other than spreading the word on joining the site.

Overall, I have been satisfied with my membership at SurveySpot and I encourage others, experienced or new to the game, to at least check out the website and give it a chance. If you find that it is not worth your time, cancel your membership. Otherwise if you are earning somewhere between five to ten dollars per day, stick to it; a little bit will surely go a long way!

I can't stand solitude. I love Long Island Iced Tea when it's done right. I'm currently trying to finish up school, start a side business or two, and still get involved in my favorite pastime; video games.  View profile
