Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and what better way to get your kids involved by introducing them to some fun, interactive, and educational games? Here are 3 sites that have "Thanksgiving Fun" written all over them!

1. BlackDog's Thanksgiving Celebration

Pros: Lots and lots of games, very simple to use website.

Cons: Too many popup ads.

If you want games, Blackdog's got them. From Print & Play turkey mazes to matching games, to tic-tac-toe to jigsaw puzzles, this website's got them all. You can even download and print a lot of the crossword puzzles or bingo games.

In addition to all of the games available to play, there's a bunch of other free things to download such as recipes, glitter images, postcards, wallpaper, and even coloring book pages. Blackdog has some of the most abundant resources available when it comes to Thanksgiving games for your kids, although the downside is the many, many pop-up ads that appear on your screen when you click on any link. So beware.

2. A Kid's Heart

Pros: Lots of original games, such as turkey dress-up or letter finding.

Cons: Need Javascript or Flash.

Yet another fun website for online Thanksgiving games, A Kid's Heart has lots to offer -Turkey swap, Pin the Snood on the turkey, Can you spot the difference, and many more. It has a special section for "Bible" games, which includes a lot of jigsaw and sliding puzzles. Even so, know that all of the games on this site will require Javascript or flash.

3. DTLK's Thanksgiving Activities

Pros: Coloring book, online games, printable games, memory cards, riddles....etc

Cons: Long loading times/ Javascript or Flash

DTLK has the best user interface out of all 5 of these websites. Not only is everything categorized very neatly, the letters are large and in the middle of the page. This website knows that you are looking for Thanksgiving games, so they've made that the focal point. In addition to games like Hangman, Tic-Tac-Toe, or Memory games, there is also printable Bingo, crossword puzzles, and word scrambles.

If you have a fast computer, this is one of the best website for kids with regards to online Thanksgiving games. If you are on dial-up or a slower connection, it would be best to proceed with caution, as most all of the games (interactive as they may be) have loading times paired with Java and flash.
