Only Natural Cat Treats Will Make Your Kitty Happy

These High Quality, Healthy Cat Treats Are Worth Every Penny

Julia Williams
One of the easiest ways to create a happy kitty is to give them healthy cat treats. If you've ever witnessed the way a cat comes running at the sound of the package opening, and begs for the cat treats with much purring, meowing and leg rubbing, you know this is true. I have no idea why a handful of cat treats can make for such a happy kitty, but it does. If it pleases them, that's all that matters, and I indulge my kitties with natural cat treats 3-4 times a week.

My family jokes that my cats eat better than I do, and it's probably true. I feed them a high quality food and natural cat treats, because their good health is important to me. Many commercial cat treats contain unsavory ingredients like artificial preservatives, chemicals and by-products. These ingredients don't belong in a feline's diet and offer little nutritional value. However, pet food is not subject to the same strict regulations as human food, so they are allowed.

This doesn't mean you should buy them though. Healthy, all natural cat treats do exist, and some of my favorites are from the Only Natural Pet Store. This wonderful online site is dedicated to offering high quality, natural pet products consistent with a holistic approach to health. The folks behind Only Natural strongly believe that pets benefit from healthy food just as much as humans do.

Only Natural cat treats are made from high quality meat raised without antibiotics or hormones, a handful of supplements, and very little else. There are no grains, fillers or gluten in their natural cat treats, all of which can contribute to pet allergies. Most of the ingredients they use are organic, cruelty free and free range. Organic foods aren't treated with toxic pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, which results in less stress on your cat's body and ultimately, much better health. And as we all know, a healthy kitty is a happy kitty.

Here are some of my favorite Only Natural cat treats.

Only Natural Poultry Crispies are bite-sized, crunchy oven-baked cat treats made from 100% chicken or turkey, with mixed tocopherols (a natural preservative). They come in an 8 oz. resealable bag for $14.99.

Only Natural All Meat Bites are 100% freeze-dried, free range meats, and nothing else-the ultimate healthy cat treats! The chicken, bison and beef flavors come in a 2.75 oz. package for $11.99.

Only Natural Jerky Bites: these soft and chewy treats are made from 95% free range New Zealand meats (venison, beef, and chicken & venison) that are air-dried to retain their natural flavors. The Chicken & Venison ingredients are: chicken, venison, dried chicory root, vegetable glycerin, organic sea salt, organic garlic and mixed tocopherols. They're $7.99 for a 4 oz. bag.

Only Natural Chicken Liver Cubes are crunchy oven-baked cat treats shaped like miniature brownies. Cats with good, strong teeth can enjoy these hard treats right out of the bag, or you can soften them with a little water. Ingredients: chicken liver, whole oat flour, eggs, water, canola oil, parsley, garlic, primary dried yeast, lecithin, dried kelp and steamed bone meal. An 8 oz. bag sells for $14.99.

Only Natural Freeze Dried Fresh Filets were designed to be used as a complete meal but also make great natural cat treats or toppings. You can break the patties into pieces and hand-feed to your kitty, or crumble them on top of their canned food to add flavor and give it a nutritional boost.

The Chicken & Veggies Fresh Filets flavor is made from ground chicken (with bone), liver, gizzard, egg, organic fruits and vegetables, plus essential vitamins and minerals. A 6 oz. package sells for $11.99.

All natural cat treats like these may seem expensive compared to those found in the supermarket or big-box pet store. However, they are far superior in quality and so much healthier. I highly recommend Only Natural cat treats, and I'm certain you will have a very happy kitty in your house if you try them!

My kittie has diabetes so he can't have much food with grain in it! Thank you for telling me about another brand alternative for him with grain free choices!
