Only One Chance
So much commotion
In the world today.
We can't even let our children
Outside to play.

With a car jacking here,
And a robbery there.
Life in this world
Is just not fair.
We move forward,
Each day and each year.
Looking for that missing link
And disregarding our fear.
Is it really this bad?
Has media warped our mind?
Sometimes in this life
What we want is hard to find.
So we track onward,
We keep placing our bet.
There's no button in life
No Start, Pause, or Reset.
