Only Time Will Tell

Zenovia B.
Have you ever been in love with someone or very much in-like but did not know how to let the other person know, it gets kind of awkard after a while.

I love you from a distance
I love to see you smile
hear you laugh
whenever we're in the same area
words seem to escape me
it's only after you have gone
I think of a million things that I could have said
I get angry with myself
and me I berate
this feeling I have seems so hopeless
it's only in my dreams
we are together
is it possible
you could
feel the same for me
could your heart be
beating
in rhythm with mine
When I go to sleep
your name
I whisper
your face
I envision
your touch
I imagine
I want to walk down the aisle
travel that narrow path
each step getting me closer
to you
our eyes interlocking
knowing that in moments
we will share a
lifetime together
I want to be
your mate
your friend
your lover
when I wake up in the morning
your name
I whisper
your face
I envision
your touch
I imagine
could your heart
be beating
in rhythm of mine
only time will tell

Wow, these are feelings that are felt all over the world everyday. So many people can relate to your words. Great work!

Great, very beautifully expressed, I enjoyed reading it. It's a kind of insecure feeling to live through the days without letting the other person know of your love. The longer you live bottling up your emotions - the more traumatic it gets.
