Censorship at its finest! Hmm...
"3lilangels" www.associatedcontent.com/user/104028/3lilangels.html took on the challenge. With the words she chose, she wrote a very humorous piece, all in fun, utilizing 10 of the most common searched keywords as of yesterday! For the most part, the responses she got where good and those people "got it" for what it was. However, like everything, you have those that have a difference of opinion.
I am beginning to see a trend here. Those who want to voice negativity, even on something as simple as a little challenge, do so under fake profiles or are members but come on anonymous. I am not sure if they just have it out for anyone in particular who might be getting too many page views, a jealousy thing, or if they just can't wrap their minds around the fact that people have a difference of opinion, and have difficulty with the whole respect thing. See, I was taught that even though I may not agree with someone else's opinion, I respect the fact that they have every right to have it!
Now, I believe, it takes a weak person not to grasp that and even weaker when they are the crybabies that have to go play tattletale, and that is exactly what it is! "I'm telling" mentality because some one said a bad word or didn't want to play the same game as you!
I was sad to see that "3lilangels" www.associatedcontent.com/user/104028/3lilangels.html had her article removed due to this type of mentality. Scary what the world is coming to!
This is my open apology to "3lilangels" for the small mentality few that took a perfectly innocent article and made it into a way bigger deal then it ever should have been
And to the narrow minded people that think they are holier than now that don't get the concept of freedom of expression;
I am sad to see that AC buckled under to such nonsense on an article that was actually bringing them views.
Okay, carry on my fellow AC writers, but just be forewarned, don't get to creative, or use a sense of humor, because the moral patrol may hide under there alias and stalk your page till you too have an article put on the chopping block!
Disclaimer: If you read yourself in here, you must have a guilty conscious. Sorry. This is written for entertainment value only. Try not to read too much into it. Note, no potty words where used that you have not heard or read in the past. Thank you and have a wonderful day!!

Post a CommentI came back to read this again .. I had no idea that they would remove articles once they are posted ...
WOW! I don't see why any article should be deleted except under EXTREME circumstances (which I can't think of any right now). Your challenge sounds sooooo fun! It would be an awesome weekly thing to do, but I guess some people like to hurt others' fun.
I'm sorry I missed both articles. I really don't understand why the articles were deleted.
I'm mad I missed it! That's awful. I'm sorry it happened to both of you.
I missed the article also, but it's sad to hear about censoring here.
I hate to hear an AC article has been removed. The only articles I would support the removal of would be those written like someone tried to send a text message. I think stating an opinion, regardless of words, shouldn't be tampered with because it is an opinion.
I missed both articles... Had no idea... I'm so sorry this happened. :(
I am sorry this happen and that I missed the articles. I am sure I would have enjoyed them. I enjoy reading people's opinions, even if I don't share them. I think that is what makes our country great and another reason it is great to be a writer.
self imposed importance is always the worse kind....thanks for the info...I had no idea this was going on, though I have seen my titles changed that I though might have been clever if not a bit risque...
OMG!! Really? I hope this never happens to me! Thanks for the article!
