The video game developers for the upcoming Gearbox Software "Borderlands 2" are holding an open casting call for an actress to portray the character of Lilith. The person chosen will appear in the game "Borderlands 2" as the live action version of the character and additionally may be invited to participate in promotional events and trade shows. The chosen candidate will be required to sign a standard likeness rights and work for hire contract and will be paid $1,000 per day of shooting.
Borderlands 2 is a science fiction-based first-person shooter with RPG (role-playing game) elements and the sequel to 2009's Borderlands. It is currently under development by Gearbox Software for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. The game is expected to be released in the distributor's 2013 fiscal year, which begins in April 2012 and ends in March 2013.
Gearbox's first original game was Brothers In Arms: Road To Hill 30, released in 2005. Soon after, the sequel - Brothers In Arms: Earned In Blood--was released. Both games received very positive awards and went on to not only top sales charts but win multiple awards. The games were especially praised for the squad based gameplay and historical accuracy. Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway was released a few years later in 2008.
Games currently in development are "Aliens: Colonial Marines," "Brothers in Arms - Furious 4," and "Borderlands 2". (2012)
