One of the instructors told how she went from a size 14 to a size 4 - by using Boot Camp and it's maintenance program. What does she do? Along with watching what she eats, her exercise routine includes running and kickboxing several times a week.
Each "camp" is designed to give you that extra oomph that you need to kick up your fitness, regardless of the level you began from. The boot camps run for a period of 30 days. They're not cheap, but they work.
So what happens when you join Operation Boot Camp? You'll be working out with a group of 35 to 40 other people, 18 times over the course of a month. Talk about building camaraderie to boost your desire to keep going and push on!
The participants meet at 6:00 sharp in the morning, or 6:00 in the evening at area parks. While there are occasions where training takes place indoors, the vast majority occurs in outdoor settings. That only adds to the appeal of Operation Boot Camp.
During your 30-day Boot Camp session, you'll be hearing from your instructors every day. Their job is to help motivate you and give you that extra "push" that you need. It could be a big push, it could be a little push, whatever your level of fitness, they're there to respond and help you.
You'll also get diet tips and hints, a daily eating plan, and be accountable for your choices throughout the time you're in Boot Camp.
It's not a camp designed for runners. Yes, you'll run a little. You can also expect to jump rope, do push ups, do Military calisthenics, and more. One of the keys is to change it up to keep it interesting and have the variety that everyone craves. It doesn't matter what your fitness level is, everyone in the group will be challenged at their own level.
Operation Boot Camp is primarily located in the Atlanta, Georgia area with operations in Knoxville, Tennessee and Auburn, Alabama. Expect to pay $350 for your first monthly session - a fee that 's worth every penny according to many participants.
Operation Boot Camp. It's like having a personal trainer, five days a week.
