Bristol Defeats All Odds and Makes it to the 'DWTS' Finale
If this wasn't so funny, it would be a disgrace to the media. Since when did reality television turn political? Oh wait, since the media make everything political, that's when. "Dancing with the Stars" is only about dancing, and the love of dancing.
Who is Bristol Palin?
She's daughter of Sarah Palin. She's a single mother. Beyond that, this girl is new on the scene. She's a "newbie" in the world of television. She in not the best dancer. She is not an actress. She isn't even well-known by herself. So how does she make it week after week on "Dancing with the Stars?"
She's smart. She's beautiful. She has a personality that makes you want to smile. She's definitely the most-improved on the show. She's downright likable. No matter what you think about her mom, you can't help but like her. For this reason, she continues to get the votes all by herself. She does not need the Republicans, the Tea Party supporters, or her mother to bring her votes. She dances with a grace that keeps bringing voters to her week after week. If people don't like, they don't have to vote for her. It's as simple as that.
Some may say it's a conspiracy. Yet, that seems very childish even as a suggestion. This is just a girl trying to make her own way in life. If voters don't like her dancing, the votes will reflect this. It's as simple as that. We vote for who we like. Isn't that the way reality television is supposed to be? Our favorites may not always bring the votes, but that's why we love reality TV so much. There is a surprise at every turn, and Bristol Palin has been a surprise on the "DWTS" dance floor.
It could be that normal Americans want to stand up for her because of the all the negative attention on her. Or it could be that she really has improved week after week.
Bristol deserved a 10 on the Semi-Finale. Her dance was worthy of a 10. When "DWTS" viewers watched the scores, more people than just me were aghast that she only received triple 9s. This could be the very reason she got the votes and Brandy didn't.

Post a CommentPalin's "Grizzy mommas and their cubs", who are already glued to their tv's anyway, have had a huge impact on this show. It's really a shame.
It's really sad that people vote for who they like rather than who is more qualified. Runs in the family.
