Oprah's Family Secret: Oprah Winfrey Reveals Huge Family Secret on Her Talk Show

Monday on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," the Queen of Talk has promised viewers a major a bombshell when she lets fans in on a major family secret that she has been hiding.

In promos for "The Oprah Winfrey Show" which aired last week, Winfrey promised to reveal a shocking family secret on Monday that literally shook her to her core. There will also be a reunion between Winfrey and an unknown person.

And then the speculation began.

Before the show has even aired, "Oprah" biographer Kitty Kelley has already said the family secret likely has to do with a half-sister of Oprah's named Bunny, who Winfrey's mother, Vernita, allegedly put up for adoption as a baby because she couldn't afford to raise her.

Others, including Kelley, have speculated that Vernon Winfrey is not Oprah's biological father. Oprah fans have seen Vernon, a barber, on her show many times throughout the years and Kelley interviewed him for her book.

But in "Oprah: A Biography," her unauthorized biography about Oprah, Kelley wrote that Vernon Winfrey is not Oprah's biological father and that she knows who is- even though no one in the Winfrey family will tell Oprah who her father is. Kelley declined to reveal the name of Oprah's alleged biological father in the book.

Regarding Oprah's family secret, others have gone a step further. Because Michelle Obama is in Chicago today taping an "Oprah" episode about military families, some speculators have gone so far as to think that perhaps Obama is part of a Winfrey family secret. This could be heading in the too far-fetched direction, but it makes for good water cooler talk.

All interesting speculations, but one thing for sure is that Oprah's production team are absolute pros when it comes to keeping things under wraps so the real secret could be none of these.

The secret reunion between Oprah and somebody will take place today on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
