We vanquished it
With sunbeams, peace signs,
John Lennon, and daisies.
This is the optimistic corner.
No pessimists allowed.
Here the glass is always
Half full- never
Half empty.
This is optimistic corner.
Pessimists beware.
We're an eclectic band
Of dreamers, politicians, and outcasts.
No one is turned away.
This is the optimistic corner.
Pessimists- we have a cure.
We offer a pill of happiness
And a syringe of bliss
To forget reality for a while.
This is the optimistic corner.
No pessimism here.
We'll exchange your cant's for cans
Your wont's for wills
And eliminate your stress for free.
This is the optimistic corner.
No pessimists here.
Until happiness takes a vacation
Bliss wears off
And reality settles in.
