The Smart Guide features a clock and quadrant circle that lights up. I had trouble with the cover so a neighbor opened it. There isn't an 800 number in the instructions, but there is a website address with no telephone number there either.

I contacted the company through the website, but it was a weekend so I didn't hear back for two days. I was given a number then. I read product and website instructions several times to understand them so they aren't user friendly.

However, once I set the Smart Guide, brushing is professional because of the timing feature and the power of the toothbrush. This feature is wonderful, especially for children. Children would love notification by a timer when to change to a section of teeth to brush that ends with a smiley face when done.

I follow the quadrant circle that lights up indicating when to switch to another area of teeth. Brushing time is also counted by seconds on the Smart Guide. I'm still learning the Smart Guide symbols and sounds the toothbrush makes, which are coded.

Currently, I don't stop brushing because of being timed. This is problematic when I need to spit. In spite of challenges, my teeth feel clean after brushing with this Oral-B toothbrush for two minutes.
