Orbs: The Mystery Explained

In the Realm of the Paranormal

M.V. Asid
You are out taking pictures. After you get the film developed, you notice these little white spots in the pictures. What are they? Was there something wrong with the film? Dust particles? You check your equipment only to find out everything is in working order. In reality, what is on the film is called an Orb, which is a form of energy that cannot be seen by the naked eye but which can be seen through any type of camera or an infrared monitor. Orbs are often confused as being dust particles, moisture, or some type of light that bounced off something nearby. Orbs float in the air and change direction at lightening speeds. They react to people around them; they appear anywhere indoors or outdoors. Orbs are especially strong around haunted sites and in cemeteries. False orbs are typically pale blue or white, whereas genuine orbs appear dense and bright on film.

What are Orbs? Orbs are actually evidence of spiritual activity according to modern ghost investigators. The Ghost Research Society has pioneered the investigation of orbs by using high tech night vision equipment and has recorded numerous cases.

For those of us who believe that at least some orbs are paranormal, there are many beliefs regarding their purpose and how they came to be. The most common belief is Orbs are actually spirits that are here on Earth and the spirit of those that have crossed over. Other beliefs are:

Orbs are energy emitted by people and objects. Spirits use these Orbs for their own energy. Sort of like a vehicle.

Orbs are used to view events on Earth for spirits in other realms.

Orbs are energy harnessed in the Earths atmosphere where some type of event has taken place in the past. For example, an area where there was an extremely violent murder would contain a tremendous amount of energy that the particular area would harness producing Orbs.

How can you tell if an orb is paranormal? After you omit all the things that the Orb could have been such as light, moisture, electrical arc, etc. Think back to when you took the picture. What was the surrounding like? How did you or other people around you feel at that moment? Did anyone feel cold or uneasy? Did anyone feel like there was someone else there? If the answer is "yes" to any of these questions then the Orb was indeed a spirit attempting to make contact with those still living.
