Organic Apples Review: Awe Sum Organics Certified Organic New Zealand Apples
These Apples Were Not Expensive and Tasted Really Good
After getting home and putting the apples in the fridge I took a couple out to have for a snack. I washed them off and gave one to my son and set the one I intended to eat aside. The apples were small enough that I was confident that my son could finish one easily if he was hungry enough. I wouldn't say that they were the smallest size that I had seen either so I wasn't one hundred percent that I needed to cut them into wedges. On this particular day my son did not eat all of the apple but other Awe Sum Organics Certified Organic New Zealand Apples that he had he ate up completely, minus the core of course. Now for me the size was not an issue and I was able to eat them up completely no problem. Not only was the size not too big but they also tasted really good too.
This was the first time that I had eaten any organic New Zealand apples in a very long time. I am not sure if individually they are expensive but the three pound bag costs four dollars and nineteen cents. This would have made the apples about one dollar and thirty nine or forty cents a pound, which is a very, very good price for organic apples. So even though I had to carry home three pounds worth of apples I was glad to be getting such a deal. After tasting the Awe Sum Organics Certified Organic New Zealand Apple that I had set aside for myself I thought that these apples were an even better deal.
Something that I like to do when I get a new kind of produce is to see if I can find out anything about the farm when they come from. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything about the Awe Sum Organics brand nor their Organic New Zealand Apples. All that I had to go off of was the bag that they came in and that really didn't give me a whole lot of information either except that they were a product of New Zealand. I was very glad that I had found these apples and decided to get them. I would have not been able to get nearly as many organic apples had I chose individual ones of any brand for that amount of money and three pounds worth of the cheapest individual apples would have been a lot more than just a little over four dollars. If you can find these apples I would recommend that you give them a try, that is of course if you enjoy the New Zealand variety of apples. I have a feeling that I will be getting them again myself.
