In my current experience on having a child, I have come to the conclusion that feeding my baby organic food will benefit his health later in life.
We live in a country that has high obesity rates, as well has Heart disease, colon problems, and untreatable cancers. It is up to us parents to keep our children in the healthiest conditions to prevent future damage and sicknesses to our children.
Now days it is all about the fast food restaurants, and junk foods that cause us to become obese and have higher chances of having heart problems, and weight problems later in life. I agree that eating more organically is the best choice, and encourage everyone to change their life styles and eat healthy. Our children are the new generation for our country, and for our future.
Our bodies are made up from organic soils. Shouldn't we keep it that way? Our children deserve to be treated better then to be fed foods with pesticides, chemicals, and preservatives that get stored into the colon and later turns into colon cancer. I highly recommend trying these organic baby foods: Naturally Preferred, Earths Best organic, and Gerber organic baby foods. It is also harder to find organic foods in supermarkets since organic foods are now coming back. Try checking out the brand's website to see where you can find the local stores that sell organic baby foods.
Another Alternative, which could save you money is to Make your baby food from scratch. There are a lot of small markets that sell organic foods, Such as Saturday Market. Or you could try a Whole Foods or Wild Oats market to get the best selection of organic food. It may take some time to prepare, but think about how you are not poisoning your child(ren). For breastfeeding mothers, It is also good to eat more organically since the foods you eat go to your breast milk.
Lets get back on track, and feed ourselves what we are meant to eat, Organically. It is not hard to figure out that todays homogenized, and preservatives foods are the cause to todays health issues. As the saying goes "you are what you eat".
