Organic Celery from Private Selection Review

I Thought that This Celery was Really Good and I was Glad that I Got It

A while back I decided to get some celery for a snack for everyone to have at my son's second birthday party. Other than that I really hadn't paid much attention to getting celery, even though I really liked it, up until recently. I was scanning the organic vegetable section and noticed that celery was only one dollar and sixty-nine cents per pound. They were in prepackaged bags which contained about two pounds worth of celery so I went ahead and got a bag. The bag that I got was full of Organic Celery from Private Selection.

Prior to getting this Organic Celery from Private Selection I also got Organic Celery from Earthbound Farm. This newer organic celery was definitely a better price but it was at a grocery store that generally had better prices. When I got home I made some celery sticks with peanut butter in them. I thought that this celery tasted really good and the condition of it wasn't that bad either, other than the bottom portion that you normally discard there were no problem spots that I needed to cut off. I was very happy about this because it is very frustrating when you are charged per pound for something, and you have to not use some of it. All in all I was really enjoying the organic celery.

One thing that I did find rather disappointing was the fact that the bag of Organic Celery from Private Selection didn't contain any nutrition facts. Unfortunately all of my research online did not produce any nutrition facts for the food item either. I found this disappointing since I am always curious to see what nutrition I can get from a food and celery is no exception. I was sure that I was getting similar nutrition facts to the other organic celery I had gotten before. Aside from not knowing the nutrition facts I couldn't think of any reason not to get the Organic Celery from Private Selection.

I would recommend for anyone to give this organic celery a try. My son does not like it as much as I do so I think that I will not get it too often for that reason. With the two of us, and really mostly me, it takes a lot to eat two pounds of celery in a timely manner. This is one reason that I won't always have this on hand. That would just be too much pressure to eat it before it goes bad and I hate to waste food. I am still glad that I got it and am sure that I will get it again from time to time.
