Organic Clothing Versus Regular Clothing: Is There Really a Difference?

Something to Think About

Mrs. Renee
You have probably heard of organic baby food, but have you heard of organic clothing. This is definitely something that was new to me so I decided to do some research. Following is what I learned about organic clothing. I have found that some parents feel that by purchasing organic clothing they are helping to protect their children. Apparently the materials that are used for organic clothing are toxic free, and do not have the chemicals that the regular clothing materials do. Some items such as cotton in some cases may have chemicals on them while it is being grown. However manufacturers will be quick to tell you that all of the possibility of chemicals still being on your Childs clothing are impossible because of the process that they go through.

Many people who like or prefer to purchase organic clothing also feel that it is a lot cheaper than regular clothing. The problem some find is that most stores don't sell organic clothing. Since it is sometimes very difficult to find many people just don't bother. Researchers, who have tested the organic clothing and compared it to regular clothing, have come to the conclusion that their e really is not difference. For one thing they both seem to last about the same amount of time, and neither one has been proven to be harmful to children. If you are worried about your newborn baby having some type of reaction to the clothing you put on them it is always recommended that you first wash the clothes before the baby wears them. Another reason why some people may encourage you to purchase organic clothing is because it does less harm to the environment. Of course this is definitely a plus when it comes to organic clothing. However once again researchers have stated that there is really no difference when it comes to the affect on the environment. OF course this article is in no way trying to insinuate that organic clothing is not good for your children or the environment. It just gives you various viewpoints on what some people seem to think about organic clothing. There are definitely several benefits to purchasing organic clothing not just for your children, but for yourself as well. If after reading this article you would like more information on organic clothing you can visit the following websites: organicclothing.blogs.com, www.ecomall.com, www.organicclothes.com, www.earthspeaks.com. The bottom line is that there is a difference, between the two, whether or not it will make a difference in the way your family dresses is up to you.
